Joanne "Dodie Keaton" DiRosa passed away peacefully on Mar 8, 2004, surrounded by her family, at home on Little Twin Lake.
She was born on May 24, 1930, in the Village of Kalkaska, the daughter of Rodney and Florence (Boger) Richardson.
Dodie grew up in Kalkaska and graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1948. On Feb 24, 2001, she married Jim DiRosa.
She was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church in Kalkaska, CETA, and Kalkaska VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Dodie is survived by her husband, Jim; step children, Janet (Michael) Piscopo, James (Amy) DiRosa, adn Jeff (Susan) DeRosa; several grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Sally) Richardson and Mike (Marilyn) Richardson; and many special nephews and nieces.
Preceding Dodie in death was her first husband, Orville Keaton; a niece, and her parents.
A memorial service was held on Sat, Mar 13 at 11 am at St Paul Lutheran Church in Kalkaska.
Arrangements were made by the Wolfe Funeral Home.
