Jessie R. Martin, 77, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Jul 19, 1999, at Mercy Hospital in Grayling.
Mrs. Martin resided in Farmington until moving to Kalkaska in 1974. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic church and the Kalkaska Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crafts.
Born in St. Clair County on Mar 4, 1922, she is the daughter of Adrian and Martha Gallagher Littlejohn. On Aug 19, 1938, in Detroit, she married Fred Martin, who preceded her in death on Dec 11. 1988.
Surviving are son Jerome Martin of Detroit; daughters Joanne (Robert) O'Leary of Mancelona, Barbara (Edward) Sundrla of Farmington Hills, Ruth (Tom) Hostnik of Warren, and Marti (Rick) LoCricchio of Jacksonville, FL; brother Ernie Gallagher of St Clair; sister Clarice Ryan of Palm Springs, FL; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Daughter Cathy and brother Adrian Littlejohn preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Jul 22 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Fr. Patrick Barrett officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
