Jessie P. Mueller, 86, of Mancelona, died Tue, Jan 17, 1995, at her daughter's home in Detroit. Her husband, Edmund, preceded her, just three weeks before on Dec 25, 1994.
Mrs. Mueller moved to Kalkaska County in 1961, from Clawson. Prior to the move she worked for many years as a secretary. She was also a real estate broker in Detroit for many years. she was an active member of Mancelona United Methodist Church, and the Kalkaska Historical Society.
Mrs. Mueller was born in Old Forge, PA, on Jul 29, 1908, to Annie and James Smithson. They moved to Detroit when she was just a child.
She married Edmund Mueller in Detroit on Nov 23, 1949.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Berry of Detroit, and a son, Allan Pouliot of Ponchatoula, LA; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held in the spring. Memorial gifts can be made to the American Heart Association or the Mancelona United Methodist Church.
