Jerry Cecil Ruff, 54, of Rapid City, passed away on Mon, Dec 3, 2007, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. He was born Jan 9, 1953, to the late James Lee and Mary Frances (McDaniel) Ruff in Indianapolis, IN.
Jerry married Betty Marie Sprague on Mar 23, 1978, in Knoxville, TN. They lived in Rapid City for 20 years and raised two wonderful children together.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Betty; his children, Jerry Allen "JR" Ruff of Rapid City, Pamela (Gajapathi) Kannon of Chesterfield, VA, Butch (Jessie) Wilson of Elk Rapids, and Dan Diekman of Rapid City; his siblings, Joe Aldio of Kalkaska, Judy (Ralph) Pritchard of Rockville, IN, and Jeff Ruff of Green Castle, IN; his brother and sister in laws, Billy Sprague of Ladagoa, IN, Jeanie Sprague of Lebanon, In, Bob Sprague of Mancelona, and Myrtle Ann Sprague of Houghton Lake; his nine precious grandchildren, Zachary Allen Ruff, Megan Kaylee Ruff, Kendra Paige Ruff, Matthew Vikron Kannon, Tyler Arjun Kannon, Ethan Siva, Kannon, Erica Wilson, Angela Wilson, and Skyler Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, John Aldio, Jack Ruff, and James Edgar Ruff.
Visitation was Thu, Dec 6, at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service was at the funeral home, with Pastor William Kuiper of the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church officiating.
