Jerome “J.B.” Boyle, age 78, of North Branch, passed away Mon, Jan 6, 2014. J.B. was born Jun 28, 1935 in Sivlerwood, MI. He was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Hoffman) Boyle. J.B. graduated from North Branch High School in 1954.
J.B. proudly served his country in the US Army. J.B. worked at the Washakie Golf & RV Resort in North Branch, MI for many years and he was employed at Chaso Royco for 35 years as a machinist. J.B. was a life long member of the NRA, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, boating, and water skiing.
Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice.
J.B. is survived by sisters, Harlene Chambers of North Branch, Mina (Norm) Haggadone of Lapeer, Caroline Woodward of Lapeer, and Kendra (Russ) Richmond of Kingston; brothers, Lyle Boyle of Davison, Lowell (Sally) Boyle of TN, Earl (Roxanne) Boyle of North Branch, Cecile (Corinne) Boyle of Shelby Twp., and Kelly (Michelle) Boyle of Marlette; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and his special fuzzy companion, “Precious”.
J.B. was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Ellen Ann and Helen.
Family will be present for visitation on Thu, Jan 9 from 2 to 8pm and Fri, Jan 10 from 10 to 11am at Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be Fri Jan 10 at 11 am Blackburn Chapel-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hutchinson officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the North Branch American Legion Post #457. J.B. will be laid to rest in West Burlington Cemetery in Silverwood, MI
