Jeraline Louise Macey, a beacon of unwavering faith and boundless love, completed her earthly journey on Feb 9, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on Feb 12, 1928, in Mesick, MI, to Otto and Mae Lanning. Shortly after graduation, she moved to the Battle Creek area, and married Stanley P Macey. Jeraline spent the majority of her life in the close-knit community of Battle Creek, MI, where she was known as a dedicated housewife, a role she carried out with grace and dedication. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family ,creating a home filled with laughter and kindness. Throughout her life, Jeraline was deeply involved with her family, creating a home filled with laughter and kindness. Throughout her life, Jeraline was deeply involved with her church, the Methodist Church in Battle Creek, where her faith shone brightly for all to see.
Her legacy is cherished by her loving children: Pam (Mike) Thomas, Stanley Macey, Roxanne (Joe) Dabat, Gary (Connie) Macey, and Robin Arnold. She was a second mom to many of her children’s friends. The joy of her life further extended to her seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, each of whom she adored immensely. Jeraline was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Mae Lanning; husband, Stanley Macey; her siblings, Ralph Lanning, Loucile Brown, Louis Lanning, and daughter in law, Connie Macey.
To those who knew her, Jeraline was the epitome of faith-filled, loving, and thoughtful soul. Whether she was engrossed in crocheting, hunting for treasures at garage sales, or imparting of the joy of the Lord, her wonderful attitude and steadfast positivity were her gifts to the world. Jeraline Louise Macey will be profoundly missed, but her indelible spirit will continue to inspire all who were blessed to have known her.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Funeral arranges are by Bachman Hebble Funeral Service.
