Jennie M. (Woodley) Rydel, of Flushing, age 66, died Tue, Feb 17, 1998 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held 1pm Fri, Feb 20, 1998 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Fr. Douglas Osborn will officiate. Burial will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 pm Wed and 11 am to 9 pm Thur at Rossell Funeral Home. A Vigil for the deceased will be 8 pm Thur at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Rydel was born in Flint, MI Feb 14, 1932, the daughter of Harry J. and Viola (Delmarter) Sewell. She married Charles F. Woodley in Flint, Feb 3, 1951; he preceded her in death Aug 1986. She then married Frank Rydel in Flint on Dec 23, 1992. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She had been self employed as a Real Estate Broker for over 35 years. Surviving are: husband Frank Rydel of Bay City; daughter, Lynda V. Woodley of Flushing; 4 grandchildren, ShaeLiha Woodley, Steven Woodley, Craig Woodley, Angela Challender; 4 great grandchildren, Joshua Charles Woodley, Skyler Page Woodley, Alexxis Isabelle Woodley, David Michael Challender; sister, Eva Billsbrough of Clio; nieces, nephews, cousins. She was preceded in death by son, Charles Steven Woodley and daughter, Kathleen Challender.
