Mrs. Jennie Margaret Blair, 76, widow of the late Isaac Blair, died at 3:40pm, Tue at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in For Wayne. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been ill three days.
She was born in Linn Grove on Apr 8, 1873, a daughter of William and Margaret McCormick Runyon. She had resided in the Linn Grove community all of her life. Her marriage at Poneto on December 23, 1894, was to Isaac Blair, who preceded her in death on January 15, 1948.
Surviving are four sons, Clifton, of Eaton, Clenda, of Bluffton, Clarence and Robert M., both of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Mowery, of Bluffton and Mrs. Arthur Schreiner of Fort Wayne; one half brother, Chester Runyon of Portland; five half sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hall, Geneva Route, Mrs. Oscar Gilbert, of Bluffton, Mrs. Pearl Johnson of Pickwick, OH, Mrs. Dan Shaneyfelt, of Lima, OH, and Mrs. Hazel Brumbaugh of Ridgeville, 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The body was remoed to the Thomas Funeral Home where it will remain for services at 1:30pm Fri with Rev. E.E. Kaufman, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Stahl Cemetery.
