Mrs. Jennie E. Vollwiler, aged 65, of 1856 Mason NE, Apt C, passed away early Thu morning, August 3, 1972 at Ferguson’s Hospital. Surviving are a son, James B. Gillette of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. James (Velola) DeBoer of Birmingham and Mrs. William (Ida) Dowd of Detroit; three grandsons, David, Douglas, and Dennis Gillette. Mrs. Vollwiler was a member of the Burton Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Sat afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Eggebeen Funeral Home, 330 Eastern Ave. SE, with Rev. Milton B. Walton, Pastor of the Broadway Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation hours with the family Thu evening from 7 to 9 and Fri from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
