Jean Louise Robinson, native of Cadillac, passed away unexpectedly on Mon, Feb 27, 2017 at Munson Healthcare’s Cadillac Hospital. She was 83.
Jean was born on Jul 11, 1933, at home on Cotey Street in Cadillac to parents Chester and Anne Anes. On Feb 12, 1955 Jean entered into marriage with Charles Robinson in Cadillac, a marriage that produced three wonderful children and celebrated over 62 years of marriage.
Jean was a graduate of Cadillac High School and made her living as a clerical assistant before eventually relocating to Florida where she became office manager for the epileptic foundation. She enjoyed travel and her time in Florida but longed to be home and in 1999 returned to home of Cadillac following her husband’s retirement. Jean was an avid reader and could often be found engrossed in a good book. She also enjoyed music and listening to the Cadillac Philharmonic, Jean will be deeply missed.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Charles Robinson of Cadillac; her children, Mike Robinson and Kelly Noragon; her beloved grandchildren, Eric Robinson, Jennifer DeHaven, Andrea Robbinet, Jermey Miner, and Rochelle Malott; eleven great grandchildren; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Pat Robinson.
Funeral services for Jean will be held at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home on Thu, Mar 2, 2017 at 3pm, with visitation one hour prior. Officiating will be Chaplain Ed Gilbert. Her urn will be placed at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac at a later date in the spring.
