Jean Ellen (Winesburgh) Blythe, 80, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Ross, died Mon, Dec 29, 2008. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Blythe had been employed as Director of Dietary Service at Asbury Heights and St. Barnabas Continues Care Homes. Mrs. Blythe was known and loved for her generous spirit and desire to help others. She is survived by three children, Joyce Corley of Westport, CT, David Blythe of Oakland, MD, and Bryan Blythe, of Lakeland, FL. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Raymond Winesburgh of Pittsburgh, George Winsburgh of Kittanning, Gail Olson of Oklahoma, and Laurine Wynn of AZ. Mrs. Blythe very much enjoyed her five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills, where services will be held at 11 am Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of the hospice of your choice.
