Janice "Jan" Williams, 61, of South Boardman, passed away on Feb 5, 2007, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on Mar 8, 1945, in Elkhart, IN, the daughter of David and Marian (Weger) Martin.
Jan married Jim Williams on Dec 24, 1963, in Jamestown, IN.
Jan is survived by her husband of 43 years; daughter, Mary J (Rob) Williams of Frankfort; grandchildren, Tara (Matt) McKenzie of Beulah, Brook Williams and Brandy Williams of Jackson, DJ Thomas and Lacy Thomas of Frankfort; great grandson, Andrew McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her children, Janiece Marie Williams, James David Williams, and Scot Lee Williams; her parents; and her brothers, David Wilbur Martin Jr and Keith Edward Martin.
Jan graduated in 1963 from Concord High in Dunlap, IN. She and Jim moved to South Boardman from Elkhart, IN in 1982. While living in Elkhart, Jan helped Jim run several Shell Gas stations. Seh is a former Orange Township Treasurer. For 30 years Jan raised and showed Morgan horses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs. Sheyenne and Reba.
A memorial service was held Sat, Feb 10 at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska, with Reverend Robert Stark officiating.
