Janette J Iler, 89, of Kalkaska passed away Mar 10, 2003, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care.
She was born on Jul 22, 1913, in Detroit, the daughter of Peter and Josephine (Hass) Nowakowski.
Janette married Harry Iler on Jun 24, 1933, in Bannister. She was a resident of Kalkaska since 1943. Janette retired from teh Commission of Aging working as a gift shop manager. She was also a past bartender at the Kalkaska Hotel. Janette was a member of St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Janette is survived by her dear companion, Joyce E Custer, and dear friend Donalda Barrett, both of Kalkaska.
Janette was preceded in death by her husband, Harry in 1971; and her brothers and sisters, Dick Nowakowski, Peter Nowakowski, Caz Nowakowski, and Irene Nowakowski.
Cremation has taken place. There is no memorial service scheduled at this time.
