James V. Swikoski, 43, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Sep 4, 1993 at St. Martins Bay near St. Ignace.
Mr. Swikoski moved from Gladwin to Kalkaska 16 years ago. At the time of his death, he was employed by Kalkaska Screw Products Company. He enjoyed building, mechanical work, hunting, and fishing.
Born in St. Joseph Sep 5, 1949, he was the son of John and Loretta Kegg Swikoski. On Feb 22, 1969, in Bellaire, he was married to Nona Bard who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by oen sons, Clayton Swikoski of Kalkaska; two daughters, Allison Hartzell and Nichole Miller both of Kalkaska; two brothers, David Swikoski and Richard Swikoski both of Mancelona; one sister, Mary Buyze of Mancelona; his mother, Mrs. Loretta Swikoski of Mancelona; his mother in law, Juanita Bard of Gladwin and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thu, Sep 30, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Henry List officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
