James R Bouse Sr., 82, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Jun 3, 2001, at Tendercare in Rogers City.
Mr. Bouse resided in Redford until 15 years ago when he moved to Kalkaska County. He served in the US. Army during WWII, and was active in little league, Boy Scouts, and as an auxiliary policeman in Redford Township.
He was born in Scotland on Oct 13, 1918, the son of Thomas and Martha Reid Bouse. He married June Johnson in Detroit on Jun 10, 1941. She preceded him in death on Oct 11, 1996.
Surviving are sons James R (Susan) Bouse Jr of Sequim, WA; Richard (Marie) Bouse of Bowling Green, KY; Ronald Bouse of Grayling; and Robert (Donna Bouse of Mesa, AZ; brother, Loren of Redford; sister, Martha of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Brothers George and Thomas preceded him in death. Graveside services were Jun 6 at Excelsior Township Cemetery, Kalkska County.
