James L. Monhead, 46, died Tue, Oct 31, 1995 at the home of his brother, Buck. Formerly of Kalkaska, he resided in Denmark, WI.
Mr. Monhead was born Sep 13, 1949, in Cadillac, to Willis and Revina (Peless) Monhead. He was married to Sandra Herlache on Jan 30, 1993 in Wisconsin. He had served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a truck driver for Wisconsin Express.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Amy Monhead of Wisconsin and Ava Monhead of TX; five stepchildren; his mother; three brothers: Bill (Mary) Monhead of Fife Lake, Robert Buck (Cindy) Monhead of Lake City, and Roger Monhead of Kalkaska; six sisters: Linda Tramell of MO, Bonnie (Mrs. Greg) Lewis of Atlanta, Mary Monhead, Janet Monhead, Carol (Mrs. Wes) Morey and Connie (Mrs. Dean) Doherty all of Kalkaska; and seven step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Willis Monhead in 1983.
Funeral services were held Thu, Nov 2, 1995 at Young Funeral Home in Lake City. Pastor Paul Lewis officiated. Burial was in Ingersoll Cemetery, Springfield Township, Kalkaska County.
