James G. ARmstrong, 54, died May 20, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.
Born in Bellaire, he was a driver with Transervice and previously employed with North American Van Lines. He was a US Army Vietnam-era Veteran and he was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church.
Survivors include wife, Anne M (Urbine) Armstrong of Fort Wayne; son, Matthew (Stacy) Leach of Kalkaska; step daughters, Maria Junk of Fort Wayne and Andrea (Patrick) Thomas of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren; two step grandchildren; Godmother, Kim DeFreese of Elkhart; brother, Ronald F (Linda) Armstrong Jr of Gaylord; sister Sharalyn (Jim) Beadle of Kalamazoo.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Norma Armstrong and brother Grant E Armstrong.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on Thu at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd. Visitation is from 6 to 8 pm Wed at the funeral home. Burial will be at a Catholic Cemetery.
