James F. Armstrong, 64, of Kalkaska, died Sat, May 27, 1995, at his residence.
Mr. Armstrong moved to Kalkaska County 15 years ago from Saginaw where he had been employed by the Malleable Iron Company prior to his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korea Conflict.
Mr. Armstrong was born in Prudenville on Jun 1, 1930, to Harold and Freda Harder Armstrong. In 1956, in Angola, IN, he married Mary Brown who preceded him in death on Oct 12, 1992.
Surviving are sons Dennis Armstrong of Kalkaska and Brian Armstrong of Saginaw; daughter Sue Armstrong of Saginaw; his mother, Freda Armstrong of Kalkaska; stepdaughter, Alma Volway of Chesaning; brothers Douglas Armstrong of Kalkaska and Peter Armstrong of Boise, ID; sisters Donna Grill and Annie Brothers both of Saginaw; and five grandchildren. No services are planned.
