James Raftery of Livonia, Mar 20, 2004 at 71 years of age. Jim is survived by Mary Jo, his beloved wife of 50 years. Loving father of James (Ann), Kathleen (Daniel) O’Brien, Peggy (Matt) Kurajian, Molly (Josh) Smith, Michael (Cathy), Ronald (Marge), Brian (Megan), Collen (Kevin) Rogers and Kevin (Nicole). Cherished grandfather of 20 grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert (Cathy) Raftery and Sheila Burke. Jim is a 1950 graduate of Detroit Catholic Central and a 1955 graduate of U of D School of Law. He was a long time member of the State Bar of Michigan and the founder of Delta Manufacturing, Detroit. Funeral Mass 10am (in state 9:30am) Tue, Mar 23 at Old St Mary Catholic Church, 646 Monroe St, Detroit. Visitation Sunday 4 to 9pm and Monday 4 to 9pm with a 7pm Rosary service at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Rd downtown Farmington.
