After a long challenge with Parkinson’s, surrounded by family James (Jimmy) Edward Earles made his peaceful transition on Apr 16, 2021 at home in Schererville, IN.
Born on Feb 26, 1937 in Highland Park, MI to Evern and Pansey (Tolbert) Earles. He was married to Loretta (McCuiston) in Corinth, MS over 64 years ago. They raised three children in Detroit, MI, Dan Earles, Doug (Shelly) Earles, and Sharolyn (Mike) Celini. He was a proud Papa to four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was brother to Norm, Bob, Bill, Clyde, and Jerry whom preceded him in death. He was a member of Plumbers Local 98 in Detroit for more than 60 years. After retirement, he and Loretta enjoyed many years in Benton, KY until recently relocating to Schererville, IN.
Jimmy was an avid golfer who enjoyed collecting and showing Classic Cars and weekly poker games with his buddies. Known for humming while tinkering trying to create the next best thing, nothing was to hard for him to tackle. His motto was do it right or don’t do it at all and when anyone called he would be there for them. He had a fire in his heart for country music and passed that down to his family.
Jimmy will be remembered as a loving husband, Dad, and Papa.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Michigan at a future date to be determined.
