Rev. James B (Jim) Jones Ret., age 77 of Cleveland, TX, passed away Mon, Mar 19, 2018. He was born Feb 5, 1941 in Hartford City, IN to parents, James and Dorothy Jones. He is preceded in death by son, Charles Owen “Chuck” Jones and in laws, Charles C Smith and Mable M Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marie Elaine Jones; parents, James and Dorothy Jones; daughter, Tina Mitchell and husband, Danny; brothers, Jerry L Jones, Clifford E Jones and Reba Fay; grandchildren, Kristi Peterson and husband Brian, Katrina Mitchell and fiance Jordan Smith; great grandchild, Colton Lee Peterson; animal family, Soapy and Abby; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service will be held on Sun, Mar 25, 2018 at 2 pm at Cleveland Memorial Park, Cleveland, TX.
