Jake Ingersoll, 25, of Marquette, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 2, 2006. Born Feb. 22, 1981, in Traverse City, he was the son of Richard and Theresa (Harrington) Ingersoll.
Jake graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1999. He was employed by Arrow Construction in Marquette.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge 2348.
Jake loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and was very devoted to his children and family. Jake was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly.
Surviving Jake are his companion, Lindsey Havel; son, Carson James Ingersoll; stepson, Reid Michael Grobar of Marquette; parents, Richard "Bear" and Teri Ingersoll of Kalkaska; brother, Buck Ryan and Julie Ingersoll of Williamsburg and Richard Lee Ingersoll Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; and grandmother, Dixie Matthews of Mineral Wells, Texas.
Jake was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Wilma Ingersoll.
Visitation will be today, April 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with additional visitation from noon until the time of service. Dan Johnson from the Kalkaska Church of Christ will be officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
