Jack Maule, 79. of Mancelona, passed away on Nov. 12. 2002. at his home. He was born on Nov. 18. 1922. in Flint, the son of Charles and Irene (Thompson) Maule.
Jack was a veteran and served our country in the U.S. Army Infantry stationed in the South Pacific for seven years. He married Helen H. Grabowski on April 17,1949, in Reno, Nev. Jack retired from AC Spark Plug in 1970 after 18 years of service.
Jack is survived by his family, including his wife Helen of 54 years; children Kathleen Ann (Steven) Holen of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Thomas Andrew Maule of Mancelona; sisters Florence (Carl) McMahan of East Jordan, and Mildred M. (Kenneth) Englemann of Sterling Heights; brothers, William F. Maule of Missouri, and Sumner (Phyllis) Maule of Gladwin; grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Joshua, Jennifer, Jonathan, Thomas and Brandon.
Jack was preceded in death by a son John Allen Maule in September, 1993.
There was a funeral service honoring Jack on Nov. 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ted Turanski officiated. Interment was at Coldsprings Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in behalf of Jack Maule to St. Paul Lutheran Church or North Country Hospice. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
