Mrs. Iva M. Nichols, 80, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Mar 26, 1995, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Nichols spent her early years in Kalkaska County, and moved to Lansing in 1950. She and her husband returned to Kalkaska following his retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Mrs. Nichols was born in Kalkaska County on Jul 11, 1914, to Francis and Ina Rouse Carroll. On Sep 6, 1934, in Traverse City, she was married to Forest Nichols who preceded her in death on Aug 16, 1980.
Surviving are brother Rex Carroll of Wyoming; a niece and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Otto, Leo, Allen and Chester Carroll, and sister Vera Ritter.
Funeral services were held Wed, Mar 29, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
