Isley D. Sewell, 6980 Willets Rd, Fostoria, MI, age 83, died Tue, Apr 19, 1960 at Suncrest Convalescent Home, Lapeer. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Sat, Apr 23, 1960, from Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel. Garland at Third Avenue, Flint. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Sewell will lie in state at Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel. Death was due to complications following an illness of four months. Mr. Sewell was born in Ingham County, MI, December 17, 1876, the son of Ira and Lucinda Botford Sewell and resided in Lapeer County for the last 13 years, moving there from Genesee County, MI. He was retired from the Pere Marquette Railway. Surviving are: daughter, Mrs. Lucinda Gibbs of National City, MI; son, Alfred L. Sewell of Fostoria, MI; five grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Mary Eseman of Mt. Morris; several nieces and nephews.
