Mrs. Irma E. Wdowicki, 80, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Jun 27, 1994, at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Wdowicki moved to Kalkaska from Annapolis, MD in 1986. She served with the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was a member of American Legion Post 40 and Ladies of the Elks in Maryland. Prior to her retirement in 1974, she worked as a National Security Analyst with the U.S. Government. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Wdowicki was born in Staten Island, NY on Nov 28, 1913, to Philip and Jennie Westbrook Garrigan. On Nov 28, 1950, in Staten Island, she was married to Ben Wdowicki who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Walter Wdowicki of Traverse City; one sister, Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Worth of New Jersey.
Three sisters, Doris Milton, Kathryn Dempster and Janet Ruff, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Fri, Jul 1, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska, under the auspices of Land O'Lakes V.F.W. Post 8684.
