Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in The Girdner Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Irene A. Willenbrink, 66, former long-time resident of Yreka.
Mrs. Willenbrink died Monday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Marsch in Seattle, Wash. She was born Sept. 25, 1901, in Sherwood, Tenn.
Mrs. Willenbrink had been a Siskiyou County resident since 1947. She retired from the Siskiyou County auditor’s office in October 1966.
She was a past chief of Aurora Temple, Pythian Sisters, in Yreka. She was also a charter member and past president of the Clay Pigeons Ceramics Club in Yreka and was a member of the Yreka Methodist Church.
She leaves her mother, Mrs. Laura Ross of Kent, Wash; her daughter, Mrs. Marsh; and a son, Garland Jeffers, stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Yreka. The Rev. C. Holtzman Frazier will officiate at the services.
