Mrs. Ina Mae Clark, 87, of Wilmington, NC, died Tue, Jan 9, 1996, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Mrs. Clark lived in Kalkaska County until 1936, when she moved to Garnet and later to Mt. Pleasant where she resided until her retirement from the Mt. Pleasant Home and Training School. She spent her summers in Fife Lake and Kalkaska until four years ago when she moved to Wilmington. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Michigan State Retired Employees Association. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Born in Kalkaska County on May 28, 1908, she was the daughter of Albert and Dellaphine Ingersoll Haskin. On Aug 10, 1927, in Grand Rapids, she married Forest Clark who preceded her in death on Apr 22, 1964.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Lester Haskin and Erwin Haskin; and six sisters, Ann Robbins, Lucille Kelly, Elsie Birgy, Ada McCabe, Eva Ritter, and Erva Burt.
Surviving are two sons, William (Elda) Clark of Elizabethtown, KY, and Michael Clark of Wilmington, NC; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Dana) Goudreau of Trout Lake, Mrs. LeRoy (Doris) Soeltner of Lansing, Mrs. David (Ann) Glazer of Egan, MN, and Mrs. James (Carol) Minics of Mt. Pleasant; 30 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Sat, Jan 13, 1996, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson officiated. Burial was in Clark Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
