Ida Margaret Bryant, age 100, of Lansing, MI passed away on Tue, Feb 20, 2018. Ida was born Feb 13, 1918 to Albert and Francis (Giles) Sewell. Ida married John H Bryant on Oct 16, 1937. They were married for 48 years. Ida was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant son, son: John “Jack” H. Bryant Jr. and 6 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Charles) Hunt, daughter in law: Janice Bryant, grandchildren: Glenn Bryant, Christina (John) Bryant-Woods, Michael Hunt, Dawn (Peter) Watson, her great grandchildren: Harold Bryant, Ariana and Marisa Woods, Samantha, Zachariah, and Luke Watson. One brother, Howard Sewell and many nieces and nephews. Ida worked and retired after 30 years of service at Schaffer’s Bakery. She was a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW 3727. Ida loved to travel all over the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and England. She loved making porcelain dolls along with their clothing. Ida loved to spend time with her family especially around the holidays. A Chapel Service will be held on Mar 9, 2018, 1pm with a hone hour prior visitation at DeepDale Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Tom Vanderbilt of Messiah Lutheran Church officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Craft Care Home.
