Hilda K. Cooper, 89, passed away Nov 9, 2011 in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born Jan 24, 1922 in Hamtramck, MI to the late Frank and Gisella (Baumgartner) Richter. Hilda married Gordon P Cooper on Oct 12, 1946 in Warren, MI.
Hilda has been a resident of Kalkaska since 1981, previously of Center Line, MI. She was an excellent seamstress and loved growing roses. One of her greatest joys was her dog DJ.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Gordon. They had been married 62 years.
Hilda is survived by her brother, Frederick Richter, her sister in law, Estrella (Cassells) Richter; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased in death by one brother, Adolph Richter; and one nephew, Frank Richter.
A memorial service for Hilda will be held Sat, Apr 21, 2012 at 11 am at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with the Fr. Norman Dickson officiating.
