Henry Vernon Jeffers, caretaker at the Olympia post office for the past 13 years, died last night at the family home 424 East Bay Drive following a stroke suffered Thursday afternoon while at work at the office. He was 60 years of age. Surviving are the widow Maude E. Jeffers of this city, three daughters, Mrs. Vera Olson of Portland, Mrs. Alta Hall of Oakville, Mrs. Lulu Barker, of Olympia; three sons, W.V. of California, Vincent and Nyal of Olympia, and one brother Erwin of Kansas.
Funeral services will be held from the Warnica and Warnica Funeral Home Sunday at 3p.m. with committal in the Masonic Cemetery.
