Mrs. Helen M Thornburg, 67, of Mancelona, died Sun, Feb 26, 1995, at her residence.
Mrs. Thornburg had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was a 1946 graduate of Kalkaska High School. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts.
Born in Kalkaska County on Nov 11, 1927, she was the daughter of Walter and Margaret Hagni Sieting. On Jun 26, 1948, in Kalkaska, she was united in marriage with Darwin Thornburg who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Owen of Roseville, and Glen and Michael Thornburg both of Mancelona; two daughters, Amanda Kibby of Kewadin, and Isabel Gaylord of Rapid City; two brothers, Donald Sieting of Alma and John Sieting of Riverdale; one sister, Betty Benson of Battle Creek; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thu, Mar 2, 1995, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor Terry Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday.
