Helen M. Larson, 91, of South Boardman, died Tue, May 16, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Grayling.
Mrs. Larson resided in Grand Rapids prior to moving to Kalkaska County in 1926. She was a member of the Gardner-Neihardt American Legion Post 463 Auxiliary, and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and board games.
She was born in Walkerville on Apr 4, 1909, the daughter of William and Lucy Green Dudley. She was united in marriage with William Larson in Cadillac on May 1, 1926. He preceded her in death on Sep 30, 1980.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by son Andrew Larson of South Boardman; daughters Caroline (Wallace) Nolff of Fife Lake, and Manon Hart and Sonia Tubbs, both of South Boardman; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Brothers Steve and Thomas, and sisters Margaret, Katherine, Effie and Ada preceded her in death.
Funeral services were May 19 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Rev John weed officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
