Helen Irene "Peg" Headley, 77, of Mancelona passed away on Mar 10, 2006, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center's Long Term Care Unit.
She was born in Oxford, on Nov 12, 1928,t he daughter of Russell and Irene (Gregoine) Scriver.
Peg married Raymond J Headley in Elk Rapids. They moved to Mancelona in 1992 from Romeo. Peg was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No 480 and a past 4-H Leader. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and needlework.
Surviving Peg is her husband Raymond, of 55 years; sons, Raymond J (Bonnie Shaw) Headley Jr of Mancelona and Eugene "Rusty" Headley of Kalkaska; two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Joan) Scriver of Lapeer and Alfred (Vickie) Scriver; sisters, Betty (Chuck) Coy of Norwalk, OH, and Barbara (Wayne) Hurlbert of Warner Robins, GA.
The funeral service was held on Mon, Mar 13, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rob J Gauthier, outreach minister of the Kalkaska Baptist Church, officiated. Burial will be at Coldsprings Township Cemetery when the weather permits.
