Helen Irene (Klee) Warner, 63, a longtime resident of Kalkaska, died on Sept. 5, 2003, after a short stay at the Long Term Care Unit of the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
She was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Flint, the daughter of Herman and Katherine (Hatch) Klee.
Helen was a past volunteer of North Country Hospice.
Surviving are her daughters, Nancy M. (Dan) Beckelic of Mesick, Mary E. (Tony) Lucas of Lewiston and Jenny D. (Donald) Patton of Mancelona; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Lois (Frank) Bedell of Richmond, Va., Margie Scannell of Millington, Katherine (John) Beck of Clinton Township, James Klee of Flint and John (Kathy) Klee of Linden.
Helen was preceded in death by her grandson. Donald William Patton; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral service was held Sept. 7 at the Wolfe Funeral Home with Dan Johnson officiating.
Memorials may be given to Kalkaska Memorial Health Center - Long Term Care Unit.
