Helen Finney, 79, passed away at her home in Dallas, OR on Nov 14, 1995.
She was born Sep 3, 1916. She was a former resident of Rapid city and the Mancelona area.
She graduated high school and beauty college. She owned and operated Helen's Beauty Shop in Alden for many years.
She was married to Bethel Mort Finney (who passed away in 1984). Also preceding her in death were her mother and father, one brother, two sisters, and son Lyle Leroy. She loved to go to Bingo, she loved fishing, and boat rides on Torch Lake and Clam River.
Surviving are four children Larry Finney and wife Lona of Dallas, OR, Lorna Sullenger and husband Othy of Dallas, OR, Butch Finney and wife Ordel of Mancelona, and Linda Hoogerhyde and hsuband Cal of Alba; sisters Denise Valenta of Midland and Lois Phillips of Hart; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Berthel and Helen will both be put to rest together as were her wishes. Private services will be held.
