Mrs. Helen C. Lyon, 62, a resident of Kalkaska since 1991, died Wed, Feb 10, 1999, at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Lyon resided in Grandville until moving to Kalkaska. She had formerly been employed at the Kalkaska County Register of Deeds office. Born in Mancelona on Apr 15, 1936, she was the daughter of Charles and Ethel Rosenburg Moore. She was united in marriage with James Lyon in Boyne City on Jun 29, 1952.
Surviving are husband James; sons Jim Lyon of Howard City, Robert Lyon of Wyoming, and Bruce Lyon of Allendale; daughter Cathy Hogle of Hudsonville; brother Charles Moore of Kalkaska; sisters Wilma Birdsall of Kalkaska and Alice Clingan of Hudsonville; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb 13 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Rev Scott Rhoades officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
