Harry R. Nolff, 84, of South Boardman, died Sat, Apr 22, 1995, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Nolff moved to Kalkaska County from Grand Rapids in 1976. He had been a press operator at the General Motors Stamping Plant prior to his retirement in 1972. He was a member of the United Auto Workers, and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.
Mr. Nolff was born in South Rockwood on Oct 23, 1910, to Christian and Alba Bauhgman Nolff. He married Elizabeth M Chambers in Cadillac on Nov 2, 1932. She survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Richard Nolff of Rockford, Cleston Nolff of Bloomingdalel, Burton Nolff of Grandville, and Dale Nolff of South Boardman; three daughters, Mrs. Merlin (Geraldine) Dadles of Reed City, Mrs. Edward (Beverly) Maloney of Kentwood, and Gale Meausseau of Wyoming; one brother Dwight Nolff of Little Mountain, SC; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude (Vipond) Lantz of Hersey; 20 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Donald, Harold, and Cecil Nolff, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Wed, Apr 26, 1995 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Fraser Vipond will officiate. Cremation will follow funeral services.
