Harry J. Rechtin, 55, of Midland, a former Ludington resident, died Friday at his home.
He was born in Ohio and worked as a chemical engineer for Dow Chemical Co. after serving in the U.S. Navy.
He worked for Dow in Midland and Ludington.
He is survived by his wife, the former Louise Ayers of Ludington; three sons, Tom, Gary, and Greg, all of Midland; his father, Harry; and two sisters, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Monday at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Midland.
