Harry D. Bernard
Richmond, Sept 2 – Harry D. Bernard, 90, former Wales Township resident and resident of Richmond 40 years, died Thursday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. John T. Joseph, 1145 memphis Ridge Road, after an illness of one week.
He was born in Richmond, Jan. 26, 1859. His wife, Mrs. Dora Bernard, died Sept 30, 1946. Mr. Bernard was a member of the Gleaners.
He is survived by his daughter, two sons, Carl B. Bernard, Detroit and Milton J. Bernard, St. Clair; a grandson, Frederick H. Bernard, St. Clair; a niece, Mrs. Edward Kuschel, Millington, Mich., and two nephews, Robert Thiele, Memphis, and Harold Thiele, Tucson, Ariz.
The remains are in the Joseph residence where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. William Rosemurgy, pastor of Richmond Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery.
