Harry A. Mikula, 73, of 1909 Minnie St, died Tuesday, May 20, 1986, in Port Huron Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Oct 28, 1912, in Manistee, and lived in Port Huron for 45 years. He married Dorothy M. Kilbourn Jul 28, 1945, in Port Huron.
Mr. Mikula was a longtime employee of Yeager Bridge. He retired from Champion Bait Co. in 1976. He was an ardent fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M, Port Huron; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Sandy) Pionk, Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren, Scott R. and Stacy Lynn Mikula, both of Port Huron, and Tami MacClemmons, Mesa; three brothers, Joseph, Walter, and Ted Mikula, all of Manistee; and his mother in law, Ethel Kilbourn, and daughter in law, Deborah Mikula, both of Port Huron.
Mr. Mikula was preceded in death by one son, Richard W. on Jul 22, 1985.
Services will be held at 11 am Friday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Arthur Murfin of Griswold Street Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Visiting is from 7 to 9 pm today and 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday.
