Harold L Barnes, 61, died Fri, Nov 10, 2000, at his home in Westminster, CA.
Harold moved to Westminster nine and one half years ago from Kalkaska, and was employed by Poole Energy Services of California. He retired in 1998. He enjoyed working with his computer.
Harold was born in Traverse City Apr 16, 1939, the son of Bennie and Elaine Lewis Barnes. He married Mabel Lohr in Kalkaska on Jun 4, 1988.
Surviving are his wife Mabel; sons Michael Barnes of Ohio and Mark (Bridgett) Prough of Mancelona; daughters, Vicki Barnes and Lori Barnes, both of Grand Rapids, Wanda Replogle of Allegan, and Rhonda Barnes of Fennville; stepchildren Roger (Cheryl) Lohr of Kalkaska, Tammy (James) Brown of Mt. Pleasant, Randy Lohr of Pennsylvania, and Michael (Diana) Lohr of California; brother Richard Barnes of Houston, TX; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm Thu, Nov 16 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Burial will be in Caldwell Cemetery in Manton.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday.
