Harold H. Neff, 86, a resident of Rapid City since 1985, died Sun, Oct 20, 1991 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Neff vacationed in this area for 40 years, and retired as a conductor for the New York Central Railroad in 1970 after 45 years of service. He had attended school in Elkhart, IN, and was a member of the United Transportation Union.
Mr. Neff was born in Elkhart, IN on Jan 4, 1905 to Frank and Lily Strine Neff. He was married on May 22, 1922 in Berrien Springs to Vivian Brown who preceded him in death on Sep 8, 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Neff and Thomas Neff both of Rapid City; one brother, Albert Neff of Port Charlotte, FL; one sister, Florence Robbins of Lehigh Acres, FL; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and three step great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one daughter, Phyllis who died in 1933.
