Harold G. Powers, 62, of 118 N 16th St. died this morning in a local hospital where he had been a patient since February. He was a section worker employed by the New York Central Railroad the last 40 years but had been on sick leave since early this year. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He was born in Genesee County, a son of Lafayette and Grace (Smith) Powers, and was married here Aug 29, 1920, to Mildred Silvers, who survives. His other survivors include four sons, Douglas of 78 Cherry St, Kenneth of 387 W. Goguac St, Harold and Richard at home; four daughters, Mrs. Russell (Betty Lou) Phillips of 665 Simmons Ave, Mrs. Ray
