Harry Williams, 28, well known local young man, died at his home 844 State St, this morning after an illness of a year. He was formerly a star local baseball player and was also a member of Bowen-Holiday Post No. 35, American Legion.
Mr. Williams was born here and spent most of his life in Traverse City. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Myron O. Williams, 531 Webster St., and is survived by his widow, his parents, three brothers, J.F. Williams of Kansas City, MO, and C.O. and B.T. Williams of this city and one sister, Mrs. R.F. Maney of Holland, MI.
A military funeral will be held but the time and place will be announced later.
