Services for Harold A. Ritchie, 70, R2 Delton, who died suddenly Wednesday evening, March 21, at his home from an apparent heart attack, were held Saturday at 2 at the Williams funeral Home.
Rev. Floyd Nagel officiated and burial was in Lakeview Cemetery, Nashville.
He was born on Nov. 22, 1902, in Irving Township, the son of George and Mabel (McKibbin) Ritchie. He had Lived and farmed in the Delton area for the past 24 years. he formerly lived in Hasting and Tekonsha.
He was a member of the battle Creek Pony Club.
His wife, Laura, died in 1934. he married Vivian Conant on 29, 1939, in Byron, Ohio. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Kay) Wellman of R5 Hastings; five sons, Kenneth of Bellevue, Lyle of R1 Dowling, Clair of LaPorte, Ind., Wayne and George, both of R2 Delton; a stepson, Fred Collins of Garret, Ind.; 27 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sister, Mrs. Loyd (Elizabeth) Wilcox of Nashville and Mrs. Raymon (Helen) Black of Battle Creek.
