Hamilton Aldridge, 56, of Birmingham and Fife Lake, passed away at his summer home, Fife Lake, Sat, Jul 18, 1964.
Mr. Aldridge was born Apr 27, 1908 at Fife Lake to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Aldridge. He was married to Delores Foster on Jul 1, 1933 at Detroit.
He was a lifelong resident of Fife Lake and Detroit, being the President of Springfield Tool and Die, having been in business since 1926. He was a member of St. Regis Church in Birmingham.
Surviving with his wife, Delores, are two sons, Thomas F. Aldridge and Hamilton Aldridge Jr.; one daughter, Patricia Aldridge Kipfmueller; his mother, Bessie Hamilton Aldridge of Detroit and Fife Lake; three brothers, Wayne of Fife Lake, Keith of Farmington, and Boyd of Detroit; and six grandchildren. His father Thomas F. Aldridge preceded him in death.
The body was taken to Ted C. Sullivan Funeral Home in Detroit to lie in state until Tue when it was returned to the Schwartz Funeral Home.
Rosary was held Tue evening, Jul 21, 1964, at 8pm at the Schwartz Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Jul 22, 1964 at 10am at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake, with Father Joe Wiekierak officiating. Burial was made in the Fife Lake Catholic Cemetery.
