Gregory L. Ransom, 57, of Traverse City and formerly of North Branch, MN, died Wed at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Ransom was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and his grandchildren.
Born November 20, 1937, in Bad Axe (Traverse City?), he was the son of Louis and Marjorie (Brewer) Ransom.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim Cross of Kalkaska, and Terri Dunn of Muir, MI; two sons, Louis Ransom of Portland, IN, and Todd Ransom of Traverse City; 10 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a brother, Clyde Ransom of Bayfield, WI; and two step brothers, Vince and Gary Lettau.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 7pm Fri at the Beitner Park on Keystone Rd.
Arrangements were handled by the Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley.
