Mrs. Grace M. Robinson, 83, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Sep 10, 1994, at her residence.
Mrs. Robinson had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area, and was formerly employed as a cook at Ray's Restaurant. She was a member of the Helping Hands Club, and was affiliated with St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. She enjoyed birds, flowers, and gardening.
Born on May 2, 1911, in Thompsonville, she was the daughter of George and Rosetta Reed. On Jul 8, 1932, in Elk Rapids, she was united in marriage with William D. Robinson who preceded her in death on Feb 5, 1988.
Surviving are one son, Patrick (Edie) of Belding; nine daughters, Ruth Miller of Southgate, Rose Battaglio of Ludington, Alice Brigham of Cadillac, Shirley Person, William (Mrs. David) Huff, and Lynn Way all of Kalkaska, Joyce (Mrs. Dick) Kraeyveld of Warren, Danelle Robinson of Traverse City, and Terri (Mrs. Larry) Jones of Fife Lake; three sisters, Deliah Holland of Stanton, Emma Johnson of White Cloud, and Betty (Mrs. Jerry) McClure of Lowell; 27 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One daughter, Margaret, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Tue, Sep 13, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
