Grace D. Turner, 76, of Coldsprings Township, Kalkaska County, died Tuesday morning, Mar 5, 1991 at home, following an extended illness.
She was raised in Pennsylvania, and she moved to Flint in 1940. In 1977, she moved to Mancelona where she was a homemaker, and she enjoyed visiting on the telephone.
She was born on Sep 13, 1914 in Easton, PA to Alfred and Bess (Schlegal) LaBrecque, and was married to George W. Turner, who preceded her in death in 1974.
Also, preceding her in death was a brother, earl LaBrecque.
She is survived by two sons, George Turner of Mancelona, Harry Gibb of Reading, PA; four daughters, Jean Harris of Mancelona, Mrs. David (Phyllis) Sikora of Flint, Mrs. Raymond (Donna) Wright of Royal Oak and, Mrs. Brian (Cynthia) Zielinski of Buffalo, New York; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; one brother, Alfred LaBracque of Reading, PA and one sisters, Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Hungeford of Belle Vista, Ark.
Funeral services were held on Sat, Mar 9, 1991 at Christ Funeral Home in Lauredale, PA. Burial was in Fleetwood Cemetery, Fleetwood, PA.
Visitation was held at the Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona on Wed, Mar 6, 1991.
